High point of the day: eating breakfast with my family at George Webbs this morning while we waited for Lucky to get his hair cut. I kept glancing over at the booth I sat in the last time I was there, as if I'd see that late-night, fuming version of my past self still brooding there.

High point of the day: sharing college stories with Gina while driving to the pub tonight. She's moving to Washington state in two days to go to grad school. I think out of everyone I know, she can still make me laugh the hardest.

High point of the day: making sandwiches at 12:30 in the morning with my dad, because we both simultaneously realized we were hungry.

It was a good day.
