Thanks to booking it like hell yesterday, we got back to St. Louis around 3AM. I left once I woke up this afternoon and made it home tonight around 8PM, four weeks, twelve states, six thousand miles, and a thousand dollars later. The house smells foreign but comforting because I know that foreign smell is the smell I shed four weeks ago and am now reassuming. I'm putting my life back in place around me and it feels so good.

Now that I'm back, I'm going to start disciplining myself:
1. I need to start running everyday. I'm going to get in shape.
2. I need to plant the garden that should've been planted a month ago. The sprouts are bursting from their trays; some have died already.
3. I need to finish writing thank-yous for graduation.
4. I need to pick up Chinese again. I'm losing a lot of it, and I miss it.
5. I need to wake up at 6AM every day, when Kirbie starts thrashing for food, feed him, and stay awake. No sleeping til noon. I will write until everyone else wakes up.

I'm going to write a letter.
