Word count: 7671
Almost 15 single-spaced pages, but morale is low. More and more schoolwork demands more and more of my time, and as much as I've procrastinated all of it in favor of writing this novel, I can do this no longer, and so my novel will suffer. My writing has gone from boring to spunky back to boring. My word count is so far behind I have no will to write cuttingly anymore. I'm not giving up, but I am disappointed in how quickly I've become distracted and loose with my goal. I'm going to try to write 2,000 words a day from now on, in hopes that I can put a dent in the gap between where I am and where I should be for words.
In other, non-novel news, everyone's love seems to be floundering lately. It's giving me an ominous feeling, making me not want to speak.
Good luck with the novel. I know how distracting homework can be especially when you make personal goals for yourself before your homework.
ReplyDeleteAnd, don't worry about other people, Jenna, when it comes to their relationships. Just because their love lives aren't that great does not mean yours will go down, too.
