Sun, for a few minutes each day. Maybe hours. Then rain. Rain rain rain. Rainrain. The rain has fucked the leaves off of all the trees so that we don't really have a gradual, slow autumn, just dirty leaf garbage littering the streets suddenly and the trees naked. What gets me more is my weather widget proclaiming sun all week, then having it rain for most of it instead. Predict rain, and then let's be nicely surprised?
I've felt my old sass returning today, or rather, what I like to think of as my real self, the self I had before I went on meds, on the days that I wasn't a total wet mop. In one of me and Avi's chases around my apartment earlier (he was trying to squeak a kiss right in my ear), I dove under my bed and he followed me and we got to talking about forts. I rearranged the things I keep under there and made a cungee (Avi's friend's word for a human-sized space to hide out under your bed). It's quite lovely - the space and the word. Many fine moments will ensue in the new cungee.
I'm doing terribly in two of my classes. Not failing, but not getting what I'm used to getting. I'm sorry, profs, but I don't have enough time in my life to care like I want to about your coursework. I'm incredibly slow at processing as it is. I simply won't be able to function if I make the time.
I posted Maslow's hierarchy of needs next to the kitchen table, to give myself perspective at 5am.
